Let's All Take A Step Back

Let's all take a deep breath and take a look at what this venue was set up for. When this venue was established it was "NOT" for the purpose of bashing Carlos & Claudia and any rumors of that need to be put to rest. I find them to be in fact very caring and friendly managers. They treat the residents with respect & kindness and find that having any discussions with them is quite comfortable. The concerns that have been posted were concerns that have been addressed at the H.O.A. meetings by residents in attendence, concerns that had not yet been addressed by management. Concerns such as, lack of enforcement of park rules, physical deterioration of common area, parking violations, keys to changed locks, unpredictable office hours, non-residents using the facilities, clubhouse unlocked after 9:00pm, and "Concern/Complaint" forms not being addressed. The purpose of this venue was not to put up a wall between management and residents, but to take down the wall that was already starting to build. This is "OUR" community and if the issues are not attended to then the H.O.A. is not doing it's job to work for the whole community. Carlos and Claudia have a difficult line to walk, between being our friend, and enforcing park rules, and I'm sure that can't be easy. One though should not take their kindness as an open door to violate park rules. Maybe, we need better communication between management & residents which Carlos has offered to do. This is a great first step!!!!!!!! One issue that seems to be over addressed is "Guest Parking". While touring the park I have counted only 32 guest parking spaces. This is extremely inadequate based on the number of homes in our park. This why when it's being abused it can become a problem. No one ever mentioned guests not being able to use guest parking. I don't think that was ever a problem. It is the misuse of these limited spaces. Maybe, if we work together with our management team we can all come to a reasonable solution to this problem. After all, this is a shared community and we all need to be considerate of our fellow homeowners. Another hot topic seems to be park cleanliness. As Suzanne stated, Carlos and Claudia are not our maids and we need to take pride in our homes and surrounding area, this alone can make a big difference in the appearance of our community. Don't we all want to live in a nice community? That is the goal of this forum, to make Greenbrier a place we all can be proud to call home. Don't you want your children to have a safe place to play, and our seniors to be able to walk the park at night and feel like somebody's got their back? Whether we like it or not, we all live together in this park. We need to treat our neighbors and this community with respect. If you don't like what's happening please come join your H.O.A. and make your presence known at a Home Owners meeting.

Carlos is a real nice person. But I would like to konw when I call or go to the office during open hours that someone will be there if I need to talk to a manger, I have problem with that in the past.
