A Pleasant Place to Live

Received from another homeowner:

"I would have to take issue with the comments made regarding the short-lived prior manager, Sandy. She was a mean, vile, nasty bully with absolutely no people skills (or customer service skills) who thoroughly enjoyed being horrible to everyone. I called her on her attitude one day in the office and she told me that she was 'mean because I can be.' She dogged me about everything after that so I'm not surprised enough complaints were lodged to force her out.

"Personally, I don't think it's hard to enforce the rules and allow people to live their lives. I don't think these current managers are doing a heck of a lot (although they are leaving most of us alone) and that our rents are too high, considering that only about $100./month actually goes towards park maintenance, etc.
Otherwise, I have been here just over 6 years and have found it a pleasant place to live."

The HOA continues to solicit feedback from homeowners regarding their concerns, so that we can have a meaningful discussion with park management about the issues affecting our community. Please send your comments to ggmhoa@gmail.com or drop them off at #9.

I have been quietly reading and listening to the comments and written things that people say and do. The mentality thus far seems to be that of tear apart instead of build up. I have been both a resident in a mobile home park and management and therefore have had exposure to both sides.

Building a community and working with management is something that can be accomplished only when both sides are willing to work together instead of insulting each other and judging people. Joel is long gone, Sandy is in the past, DJ and Marie are gone and so is Chevelle. Conversations about them and their shortcomings will accomplish nothing.

Greenbrier Gardens is one of the nicer parks, rents are still manageable (since some of the parks are over $1,000 per space now, in east county).

We have all heard the expression, if you have nothing nice to say then say nothing. Constructive comments, although difficult to hear at times, should always be welcome. Let's work together to build our community and let's give stupidity a rest.
