You are urged to put your specific complaints in writing. If you use the Complaint/Concern Memo (triplicate form, available at the office), turn in the top copy to management, keep a copy for yourself, and forward a copy to the HOA. You can leave it in the tube at #9.

Carlos attends the monthly HOA meetings and gives an update and responds to individual questions and complaints. That would also give you a forum to get your issue resolved.

The best thing anyone can do is COME TO THE HOA MEETINGS to get involved; ask direct, pointed questions; and follow-up on past requests and/or promises.

Many people would argue that choosing not to participate in a solution is contributing to the problem.

The HOA is here to help, and has been in formal communication with management, as provided under the MRL; many residents' issues have been, and are being, resolved. If you have specific complaints or incidents to report, please do so in writing, with a copy to the HOA so we can follow up. Alternatively, attend a meeting to discuss your concerns so they can be included in the next round of discussions with management.

Unfortunately, there is little we can do with these general, anonymous comments on this blog. However, we might be able to assist with something like this, whether communicated in writing or in person at an HOA meeting:

"I am Jane Doe, in space #555. I have been trying for 2 weeks to get my landscape plan approved. Every time I go to the office, during office hours, it is closed. I tried on Monday, 10/6 at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, 10/9 at 3:15 p.m., and Tuesday, 10/14 at 9:45 a.m. I have left phone messages on (date/time) and have yet to get a return call."
